主はこう言われる。正義を守り、恵みの業を行え。

"Maintain justice and do what is right,
for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed."

He waters the mountains from his upper chambers; the earth is satisfied by the fruit of his work.
He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate-- bringing forth food from the earth:
wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil to make his face shine,

見よ、その日が来れば、と主は言われる。耕す者は、刈り入れる者に続きぶどうを踏む者は、種蒔く者に続く。

"The days are coming," declares the LORD,
"when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes.
